pasting passwords from one table into the other???

Hi I am trying to copy and paste a column of passwords(text hidden by asteriskses) from one table into the another, but all I am getting is the asteriskses not the underlying password. Anybody know a work around for this its driving me nuts.

What if you remove first "password" format from field property.
You'll see a real passwords.
