percent in report

I have two collums, currentowed and currentpaid. i want to add another field to my report showing the percent of currentpaid to currentowed but I can't seem to be able to make it work. I tried:
=sum([currentpaid]/[currentowed]) and it doesn't work. Can someone help me?

You need to remember your order of operations. Your function first divides two values, then it sums the resulting values together. You want to sum your values together, then divide those summed values:

=Sum([currentpaid])/Sum([currentowed])

That's a new one on me. We learned BODMAS (but without cool mnemonics) and I've seen "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally"

Remember to use the Format property "Percent" if you want it in percentage.
