I have a split Access 2007 database that users access via Access 2007. The BE is in a shared server location. I use the user-level security feature of Access 2003.
We are finding that when multiple users are in the database (each has their own application on their own hard drive), the speed of the database is drastically reduced--and is very frustrating.
Would running 2003 through 2007 impact performance when multiple users are in the database at the same time? Would using user-level security for the split database be a factor? It's not that big a database nor are there that many users (maybe 4 or 5 users on at one time).
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
