Pivot Chart won't filter by Month/Year

I have a report that is filtered by Month and Year from an unbound form. The report filter's correctly, but the chart on the report displays a summary from all the records. I tried placing the following in the criteria of the chart query [Forms]![Summary Month and Year CriteriaInput]![Month]
[Forms]![Summary Month and Year CriteriaInput]![Year]

I used the above lines for the report query and they work. Is there something I am forgetting in the chart query?

Have you set the the LinkChildFields and LinkMasterFields for the chart?

I actually removed it to make the chart display correctly. Is that what links it to the report?

Yes, if it is made as I imagine you've done, (but it's difficult to say then I can not see what you exactly do. ).
