I'm running on a deadline for a college project, and I'm really stuck for ideas! Can someone please help me out of this situation?!

I have two tables, Contracts and Supplies. I want a form for the Contracts, and a subform for Supplies, which will allow me to use a combo box to select the type of the supply needed. When this is selected, the subform for the Supplies will automatically update, displaying the relevant data for that type of supply.

But I can't get the selections in the combo box to link with the subform's elements to change them... they just sit there!

Please help!

Wow..fast reply! ^__^

That's basically what I'm trying to do, albeit in Form mode, not Datasheet, and with only one dropdown.

I'm learning this as I go, and I can't really see what you've done to get that result... could you please explain?

if you dont and your database is not to big yet please e-mail it to me and i will have a look

Did that not work? Hmm.. I just tried to stick it up here and it didn't work...

Let me try again..

Thanks so much!!

i think i have it working. you have to create a query with the details for the combo box as the combo serches a query.

I'm having a little trouble replicating what you did.. could you briefly run through it? It'd be much appreciated!
