I just needed to establish a starting point for communications. Since I was sure he had probably already tried that, he should be able to see that he didn't communicate clearly, essentially breaking the ice.

Yes, English is not my first language and my understanding the English language is not that much. Therefore I keep asking and I'm sure the answer to my question is very easy for you

I will explained what I need

I have created popup fields in the form, I need to rename these fields, not renaming the titles but the contents which might be resourced either from a query or a table

what's a popup field? also, what do you mean by RENAMING CONTENTS

I still don't understand but I think I may be getting closer. When I initially read your post, I considered 2 different scenarios: 1. you wanted to put data into a field; 2. you wanted to in some way change the name of the field.

I answered number 1.

The answer to number 2 is, right click on the field, click on properties, click on "all", and check out the first couple of listed properties. There, you can change the name of the field and the source column of the field.

but if you set the record source of a form to a table or a query, then you'll be able to "link" any field in that form to any field from the query or table
