Hello, I am working on an Access 2007 form that I have attached here. I have five forms that the user will use to enter data in this order (frmPtCharacteristics, frmIntervention, frmContext, frmOutcomes, frmQuality). The results of this entry will be used in the form MakeWordTable (incomplete) to export the results to a landscape word table. The final goal would be to allow any user to select a combination of fields they want to look at and export them as well as offering some filtering options.
Here is how information should flow and be organized. Each entry in PtCharacteristics will have a unique study_ID which will correspond to one or more Intervention_IDs and one Quality_ID. Intervention IDs will have 1 Context_ID and 1 OutcomeID each. I've tried to set up the relationships as such as well as those with some autopopulated fields.
I've set the forms to use a query as the data source with all of the content of the corresponding table as well as a field linking to StudyDesc_ID (PK for first table, and call_number (a unique field that users will navigate records by)).
My problem is that the relationships, or how the tables are set up is not correct. Could any more experienced users take a look at the relationships I've set up. I was the user of the forms to select a 'Call Number' to enter and then use that all the way through study quality (the final table) until they return to frmPtCharacteristics and start again. The user should then be able to enter multiple interventions which correspond to that call number, and then in the outcomes and context forms be able to view ONLY those interventions corresponding to the same call number and intervention IDs.
