Hi all.
Over the last couple of weeks I have had some excellent help from the guys in this forum which has meant my DB is very much getting to where it should be. It has to be presented in draft form on Wednesday!!

However, I am now at a stage where I require assistance to make the forms/queries/tables work as I would like!!
The forms display what I want them to which is grand (thanks to Mile and others) BUT I am at a loss as to being able to enter NEW data. The sub forms behave differently (even though I am sure they are built the same way) and I get Null ID key errors - a nightmare of a weekend!!
What I want to do is have pulldown boxes for selecting or adding to certain categories which are held via the subforms. I cannot get the combo boxes to work!! At present the fields are text entry but I want to limit the choices to the prescribed list (qualifications and Disciplines) so that the search can be done using set critera (ie no wild cards).
The search form is based on Original Code developed by Terry Kreft and Dev Ashish but I am stuck as to how to use combo boxes for criteria selection - I can get the list of fields to display in 1st combo but cannot get the 2nd combo to display a list of possible values. The best I got was the values in the first column of the source table for the 1st combo!!
Ideally I would appreciate if someone could have a look at what I have done and give me some advice as to how I should proceed!! Hopefully the recommendation won't be to look for other employment
The dB is 300k or so when zipped. Please PM me if you can spare the time to look at this for me and I can e-mail you the zip file directly.
