Pop Up Form Issues

My database has a main contact form [Architects] with a Contact button, which, when clicked on opens up an [AIAContact] form.

I can search the [AIAContact] form when it opens up in “standard” mode,
for example the contact name, but I can’t search it when it opens in Pop Up mode. Any ideas why this is happening and how I might fix this issue?

When I open the [AIAContact]form it is "filtered" by the number of Contacts at the firm in question. However, the form is filtered when I open it in standard form or pop up form, so I'm not sure why that would make a difference.

I can search the [AIAContact] form in standard mode and filtered.

Hi. Are you able to post a small copy of your db?

It may have something to do with if you are referencing Screen.ActiveControl in order to perform searches. Just a guess. If I'm not mistaken, a popup form will not be the Active Form, therefore the controls thereon will not be active.
