pop up forms

i have made many of my forms pop ups as i feel they make my system look more professional.

i am having a problem though when i open a table and i guess when i open a query the same will happen, the form is always ontop and you cant access the table without closing the form. is there a way around this.

On closer reading, the foreging doesn't make much sense to me. You're talking about 3 different things, i.e. a table, a query and a form.

Try stating the problem again.

i have a large amount of forms that i decided to make into pop up windows to get rid of all of the buttons at the top of the screen.

on some of the forms i have search options for say a member of staff.

i click this option and i am asked to enter the member of staffs forename and surname.

the query then opens to reveal the results of the serach, or in my case the results arent shown unless i close to form that the search option is located on.

do you understand my problem now.

Does this mean you're opening a query in the QBE frame or a form with the query as the recordsource?

Are you requerying your form after querying?

i have made a command button from a macro that opens the query

You shouldn't let users have direct access to tables or queries, creat a new form that returns the results of the search
