Pop up Message Window based on amount left

Hi. I have a form used to select the color material the customer orders. I have a report that I can go into to look up what amount is left of each color material. that report updates the quantity left every time i enter a new customer order. The data being pulled is stored in SQL. I would like a message to pop up that warns me if I'm getting low or if i'm out of the color ordered instead of going to look at the report after each order is entered. I hope that is enough information to get started. I greatly appreciate your help.

You can use a DLookup() to get the current quantity on hand, and put up a message box if the quantity is low.
