Populate table using combo box from from

I am developing a computer hardware inventory cum repair details.
I want to enter data using combobox I as I already have values. the value is a "Text" i.e. it is a identity given go each peripheral which is Alphanumeric.
I was successfull in getting combobox for Numeric value but Alphanumeric,E mployee name, I am unable to ... Kindly help.

I have two tables A and B. I want to populate the table A through a data entry form from table B which has Employee name and EMP NO. ActuallyI could populate the table with EMPNO which is numeric data. However, I am unable to populate the employee name. Kindly Advise.

Could you describe the structure of your two tables. ie. what are the field in each of your tables.
