I have a form with several multi-select listboxes. I had populated the listboxes from index type tables and the values where there how I wanted them.

However I had to change the tables and do quite a bit of work to make some queries work.

Now all of my listboxes just show the primary key...it doesn't matter which Bound Column I give it. It's also doing this if I create a new form so I'm guessing its something to do with the tables.

Please be gentle with me if it's something completely obvious!

Have you got the correct number of columns? do they match what is in the rowsource?
Have you got the column widths set appropriately?

Yes, yes and yes.

Nothing in terms of the form and listbox settings has changed - just the table.

Just guessing here but what happens if you change your listbox to not be multi select? Could be something to do with distinct rows. Set all the col withs to 1 to if they are present in the list and in the rowsource.

Tried this, nothing changed. I've now made queries just choosing that 1 column and pointing the listbox to there and it works....not ideal but it has solved my problem for now. I may have to look deeper for a proper solution but I need something working to show my bosses by 12.30 today so haven't got the time ATM!

Thanks for the ideas.
