Entry Level questions contd. - positioning screens

I am trying to position my Switchboard and all subsequent screens to start in the top left hand corner verus middle of the screen. Even though I turn the "Center" option off for both they still stay cenetered.

If I call up the screen directly from the Forms menu it is in the top left hand corner because it fully expands to fill the screen. If I call it up from the the Switchboard it maintains it's design size and stays centered. I dont want to simple fully expand all screens and cheat that way as I want to use the automtic print facility to do screen dumps. If it is fully expanded then it always prints off extra sheets.

Thanks

Access is really quirky with screen positioning. Actually I've answered this question a number of times for people who were trying to position a form in the center. Thats because the Center Form only centers the form horizontally, not vertically! Here's the trick, and you must do it exactly as directed! Also remember, if you work on the form at a later date, and reposition the form to facilitate doing design work, you must do this again before saving it.

1) AutoCenter must be set to No
2) In design view move form to desired position
3) Click on Save
4) Close form without doing anything else!!!!!

Hope this helps.
