Good Morning,
I am having a heck of a time trying to get a report to line up properly!
The report is to print out a large number of membership cards, on to pre-printed card stock. There are 3 cards on each page, with no margins at the top, bottom, or side of the pre-printed form.
The cards are separated by perforations, and are all 3.5" high. Are you anticipating the problem yet?
Well, here it is, and I have a feeling it is somewhat common, although I haven't found any simple solutions so far. Leads me to believe there might not be one! Anyway, any printer has a minimum margin size (laser printer, anyway), so I am unable to get the output positioned exactly right on all 3 cards on the pre-printed form. One is too 'high', one is too 'low', and one is just right.
I've fussed around with this for way too much time now. If anybody can help with this, please let me know!
Oh, I should mention that new pre-printed forms have been ordered (that include margins on the top and bottom), but we would still like to use the thousands we still have on hand if possible!
Thanks a lot,
Gord
