prevent warnings

I have a form that is updating records using docmd.runsql(update...)

when it updates it brings up a warning that it is going to up date the records, is there a way to turn off these warnings and how can I do this.

be careful here you want to set
the warning off just before your code and then straight away afterwards ...

DoCmd.SetWarnings False

I have presumed their some button action to update get to the code in th ebutton and place this in the right palce and pop
