Hi. I hope someone can help me with this problem. I'm trying to figure out a way to come up with a query that will show me the difference between the previous record eol_date and the current arrival_date. Is there a way to do this in Access without having to write complicated code?
Here's an example:
Record 1: Arrival_Date, EOL_Date
1/1/2003 11:30, 1/1/2003 12:30
Record 2: Arrival_Date, EOL_Date
1/1/2003 11:45, 1/1/2003 12:45
Record 3: Arrival_Date, EOL_Date
1/1/2003 13:00, 1/1/2003 13:45
What I want done is to show in a column called Idle_time, where it takes Record 1's EOL_Date and subtract it with Record 2's Arrival_Date, which will give me a difference of 45 minutes & shown in the Idle_time column. Same with taking Record 2's EOL_Date and Record 3's Arrival_Date = 15 minutes.
Any help is appreciated
