In my form I update data and may need to send a letter to that person.

Is it possible just to print out for just that one person, even though several other people may have need that same letter, by form of command button...

..ie Data is imput at different times of the day and letters are required at that moment in time.

At the moment I use a word merge, but am considering switching to Reports if I can do this, as you have to spend time searching through records to find the appropiate person to mail.

Any help would be very useful.

Ian

Look in Access help topics under "Print Current Record". I became a member after 2 days of replying to posts. I assume after you answer so many questions, the mediator makes you a member, but I'm only guessing.

Thanks Charity, will have a look.

I have another similar question below..

Is it possible to run a query from a combo box to open up a specific word document depending on what was picked from the combo box.

I was thinking of something like this option when you use Queries [Enter the letter you want to send], apart from it being a combo box, so you can only pick from the list.
