I am sure this is real simple but I am triping up on it.

I have a report I open from a form in print preview but I cannot get the option to allow the user to go ahead and print the report when they are done reviewing it.

I though you should be able to right click on the report and get the option but this isn't the case for me.

How do you guys go about this?

Can you not right click and print? You could provide a msg box to the user right before the preview window displays to advise the user to right click if you feel it would help - ?

Thats my problem. When I right click on the preview I do not get an option to print.

actually I do not get a right click menu at all.

I can go to the report directly and preview and I get a right click menu but when I open the report from a form the menu is disabled.

What version of Access are you using?
Have you turned off the right-click menu option?

I posted a picture from A2010.

I put a label on the report that does not print. It says

" Press Esc to Close Report, Control + P to Print Report"

Esc is about ~

When Control + P is actioned the print dialog box opens.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

I think I will try adding a label that does not print. THough I do not know how to set the label so it will not print.

Is there are hidden property? I didn't see one for labels that controls wether its printed or not.
