Printing Lines on report

Lines which show up on my report preview do not print - how do I get them to print. Thanks

Hi BD

Have you checked whether the Property "Fast Laser Printing" (which applies to the whole report) is set to "Yes". Changing this to "No" can, in some circumstances, resolve the problem of lines appearing on a report when in Print Preview but not appearing when actually printed out.

I think the lines that you are talking about are just guidelines for design purposes.

If you want lines to feature on the report I suggest you draw them in using the tools provided.

PS Sorry if this seems like a stupid answer but I am used to people who ask very basic questions.

Sometimes you just need to make the line thicker so that your printer can handle it...

Also, if you save anything in .rtf format, that will mess up some of the pretty formatting.

Glad you got it fixed. It was one of those problems that had me baffled for ages until I eventually stumbled across the solution (i.e. I had got to the point of changing every setting one by one, often not believing that they could be in any way responsible for this technical hitch, just to see if it had any effect on the lines!).
