Printing report on okidata ml521

I have a report that prints fine in landscape view on laser priters, but recently used on okidata ml521 dot matrix. It will not fit all on one page. And in order to print in landscape I have to select portrait. It's very screwy. I've tried a number of things, but nothing has worked so far.
