Hello everyone,

Is this possible?

I have a certain form that I'd like to set it up to where it automatically prints out in landscape view. Every time I set it to do so, the next time I open that form it is back to portrait.

Is it possible to set this specific form to print in landscape without having to change the entire database to print in landscape?

I know it's not that big of a deal for me to go in and print a form in landscape view but for people that don't know what they're doing it could waste quite a bit of paper when they turn in their forms.

Please let me know if anyone has an idea of how to get this to stay in the settings for one form.

Thank you!

Forms are not meant to be printed, you should use a report. The problem though is almost certainly the AutoCorrect feature, try turning it off

Hmmm ...

Why are forms not meant to be printed. I've printed them in every database I've ever made. And always had to go in and change everything to landscape that needed to be printed in landscape. Why would you create a form for an employee to fill out and then make them open a report to print it ? heheh Let me know... :)

A, try printing forms with embedded subforms
B,Reports have more sorting grouping options etc., etc and there's more .......;)

Hi Rich...

I found on another post that all you have to do is go into design view, do page set up and change it to landscape and then save. And it works. ....

However, I do want to ask you something else if I could. hehe

I wanted to know on the printing reports instead of forms. Do you just go in and set it up to where it looks just like the form? Or does it have to print out differently? How do you usually do that?

And then, should I set up a macro on the main form where my employee will enter their information and have a print command box to where it'll go to a macro to print a report?

Please let me know what your suggestion is on that. :)
