I would like to create a Macro that stores the number of pages to print out. Ideally I would like to be able to click on the print icon on the toolbar, and have it print just the first page of a report. I followed the macro wizard directions to create a print out action, but I don't understand where to run or place it. I've tried putting it in an event line of the properties detail for the report, but I get an error saying that the macro cannot run from any of them. I am, obviously, very new to macros. Where should I run the macro from, or is this possible.

What you could do is create a customized toolbar and put the macro on a button there... To create the toolbar, just right click on the toolbar up top and choose customize.. Then hit new and name the toolbar and all. Then put a custom button on the toolbar and right-click it while in design mode of the toolbar. Click on action and select your macro. You'll now have a customized print button. Hope this helps.
