I am trying to find out what the little arrow next to specific tables is, I believe it's something signifying that it's an updated table....but if I copy one to replace with a new one yet want to keep that old one for a side by side comparison, how do I remove that arrow?

I know this is probably very confusing how I am asking but hopefully there's some really simple way to do this.....or hopefully I am making sense.

Basically this is a This Year Vs Last Year Comparison with data exctracted from a main frame, brought in on a daily basis in the new table and I want the results of all of last year to remain in this other table...so basically FY 2005 vs FY 2006

Hope this makes sense
Thanks

There is a little arrow next the table means that it is a linked table. To view what it is linked to use the linked table manger.

Thanks A TON!!!!

what if I use the linked table manager and there is nothing in it? yet there is a relationship? I try to change the table but it says I can't b/c it's linked but when I go into the Linked Table manager, it's blank????

Better Yet, How does one remove a link from a table.

Basically, there is a front end programn running an update on specific products from 2005 of who bought what and now I've changed those all to reflect 2006 products, however the front end process adds the table information to a backend DB then that is imported to our main DB....(I hope this makes sense to someone, I did not build the DB and the one who did abruptly left with no documentation) B4 I added the 2006 table, the 2005 had the link and there was a 2004 table that just took a year end snapshot of the data to compare it. But as of now, 2005 and 2006 are both linked, yet I have no frontend queries running for the 2005 data. Would it be safe to assume that I could leave the 2005 alone since there's nothing attached to it? Though I would like to figure out how to remove a link.....
T

Thanks in advance

Hi RaptorZ

Maybe you have lost your link, using the connection manager you can re-link it if you know where the BE is located.
