Hi,

I don't know want I did, suddenly, all the forms, tables, and query in my database are gone. But when I go to the proprities of my database it still has 49 Mo. Any ideas to restore my database?

Try:

1. Compact & Repair
2. Un-Hide stuff
2. Import all your stuff into a new db
3. Reboot pc
4. Try it on another pc

??

Thanks for your reply, but I see Compact but I didn't see Repair. Where should I go to find repair?

what version are you using? Older versions from memory are options next to each other. New versions do both together. If all contents are deleted the size wont reduce until compaction. Access allocates chunks of storage (16k??) as it needs it but doesn't release it again. Hopefully you haven't lost if but if so theres are harsh lesson for making a back up copy. Good luck

Q. Say you do a new, blank db. Then do an import and go to your problem db, can you see any of the objects in your problem db?

1. Can you link to the tables?

2. Did you try it on another pc?

3. I assume 49 mo is the same as 49meg? Can you zip and post it?

I have try on another PC, it didn't work. When I open database, the database window didn't appear. So, is it possible to reappear this window?

Did you try holding down the shift key as it opens?

Did you ever find the repair database command?
