Hello guys, I hope you can help me with this one. I creaated a Word template with fields. I populate this template from an access form, using a "print to word" button with vb code. The template gets populated ok, picking up the data from a make-table. Te problem is that I can not save that template keeping that specific data. Every time I create a new letter, the make-table have new data. When I open any of the saved letters, they do not display the original data, but the data in the make-table at that moment. How can I save the letter from my "print to word" button, (using vb) so that the fields in the template are converted to text before saving?
If I go into the letter, select a field and click ctrl-shift-F9, then the field is converted to text, if I save the file, it keeps the data as I want, but I can not do that for each field, in each letter. Thank you
