Problem: Total Price at Form Footer

Total Price text box appear at Form footer with Control Source : =sum(cdbl(txtSubPrice))

=Sum(txtSubPrice)

Put a textbox in the footer of your subform with this in the control source.

=nz(Sum([txtSubPrice]))

Name it something usefull like txtSubtotalPrice

add a textbox on the main form and put this in the control source

=[txtSubtotalPrice]

Does every field you are summing on have a 0 (zero) or some other figure? What is the Control Source of the the field you are summing on?

Base on the attachment above , all fields with numeric value . Could the problem raise up bcos of the unbound textbox? If i still want to use the unbound text box, how to proceed ?

you can't sum Unbound controls

Yes. Any way not to use bound but still can show the correct sum?
I don't plan to keep the total inside the table .

The sum field (result) should not be a bound box but the field you are summing should get it's data from one of the form's row source fields.

is txtSubtotalPrice is the name of the field on the form or the name of a field of data in the row source ?

As mentioned... you cannot SUM on UNBOUND text boxes, they must have a ControlSource. So, not matter what we do here that will never work.

Where is the data for those UNBOUND boxes, in other words, what do they do?
