Problem with Cascading Combo Box

Hi I have a form based on a query - which has 2 combo boxes (Product_Cat and Product) to search for a record and display info based on selection. Now the problem is that with one of the selections in Product_Cat the Product cbo doesn't allow me to select a value (and thus display info). It works for the other selections in Product_Cat but when selecting this specific one it doesn't allow selections in Products. It does however populate the the Product cbo correctly , im just not able to select any other value than what it defaults to (first item on list). I can't really figure out why it works for some of the Product_Cat selections , but refuses to do so with one of them.... Please Help.

Im trying (and partly successfully) to let a user view how much of a Product is in stock. Im doing this with the user selecting a Product Category (cbo1) and then on the other combo box selecting the Product (cbo2) - This then shows how many of chosen Products are in stock. The problem is that when choosing one of the items in the first cbo (Product_Cat) the second cbo doesn't let me select items on the list (even though it is correctly populated) which then prevents me from showing the current stock. Hope that helps.

So are you saying
User Clicks A Category And Selects "widgets"
When User Clicks On The Product, Then U Want Them To ONLY Choose A Type Of Widget

If So, Then I Suspect That in the on change event of the CATEGORY combo box, You Need To Requery The Product Combo.
Something Like : Me.product.requery

The Combobox is populated correctly everytime - however in one case i cannot select products on the list. The list however is shown correctly. (And yes i do Requery the combo in the afterupdate event on the first one)

Is It Possible That In The ONE Case, There Is either
A Typing error The Category List or
There is no product for the category in question

Can't really be a Typing error , since the 2nd combo is populated correctly - just doesn't allow me to select products on the list. I'll try wiping the table in question tomorrow (workday over) and see if that helps.

Problem Solved - I made a new form from scratch. (Rebuilding and wiping didn't help)
