Thanks again for your help too. I actually like your method better, it's way cleaner. I'm still too novice to quite understand the efficiency of variables, but I embrace the maxim that efficiency is always preferable to inefficiency. Maybe it's my OCD coming out, but I'm one to write code in as little lines as possible, I just find it easier to work with. However for purposes of Dim, I'll be on a line by line basis from now on.

TBQH, I don't blame you. It seems more intuitive that a multiple variable on single declaration would be of same type, and I would never have had known not had I read a book on Access (Allison Baltier's)

Just be glad you're not working on PHP.

Well after you showed me the correct single line declaration, I kinda had an aha moment as I had seen it done that way before. That's one of those mistakes you remember forever and are just constantly conscious of it.

Funny you mention it, PHP is next on my to do list. I have the MySQL/PHP bible sitting right behind me staring me down. MySQL is a little intimidating, but I'm sure I can pick it up fairly quickly.

Heh. Unfournately, that's the popular combo though if I had a choice, I would be sooner using Python instead of PHP or Perl. Hence my signature.

MySQL, OTOH, is pretty easy to get hang of. It's basically just SQL.
