I build my websites in Microsoft Frontpage at present but I'm led to believe that it is now obsolete. I like it as its fairly easy, whats replacing it if anyhting?

Microsoft is replacing it with two products:

Sharepoint Web Designer and Expression Web Designer - both are based on Frontpage concepts (as far as I know).

But there are lots of other ways to create and maintain your website - and many people would probably say that Frontpage hasn't ever been the best.

Many (most?) websites are now maintained by Content Management Systems (CMS) - these are programs that reside on the web server and once installed and configured, usually allow multiple users to log in from anywhere on the internet to create content - with no particular need to install any software on the computer - it's all done in the web browser.

There are any number of CMS solutions - some easy to set up and use, others more difficult, but sometimes with the advantage of really clever functions.

I use Fuzzylime for my site - because it's a real cinch to set up and doesn't require a back end database.

Fireworks CS3 is a very good graphics design tool and obviously you can use photoshop for layout designing purpose. Then you can use Dreamweaver CS3 for HTML/CSS template coding

I was searching for the same solution about programs for design and finally i found you through Google search :) mind blowing!.

Hi

I like wysiwyg webbuilder. It's very cheap and extremely easy to use. You can download a free extension builder to make addins too. The interface is nice and familiar.

The only downside is that it doesn't do dynamic pages at all. You can make them with a bit of HTML addition ( which there is an option for )

Other than that, you can get a website made in no time at all

you can google it or go to
pablosoftwaresolutions.com

cheers
