prompt for record selection by Location

I have created a prompt that request a location name



is there a way to enter more than one location

ie what would the syntax be to ente:

bendigo & Head Office

in the prompt box

Do you mean when using a parameter query to prompt the user for parameters? If so, there is no easy way to enter more than one in a single prompt. You'll have to use a form for that.

If you enter something like [Search1] in the criteria section of
your query, then add [Search2] right below it, it will ask you
for both and the search will be an OR search. If either of them
match, the record will be displayed.

You could add the same column twice for an AND search, but
that does not make sense. At least not at this point of the day.

Next question are there any parameters I can add to this
to get the location column to sort ascending.

A couple of lines above the criteria section is where you choose
ascending or descending for the sort.
