When I am in design mode, and ask for the properties screen, it takes up to 30 - 35 seconds to resolve.
A sort of 'curtain' slowly crosses the dialog box from left to right, taking about 10 seconds, and then repeats until the screen finally resolves.
I am using Access 2010.
This happens for all my databases, even a blank database.
It happened under Windows 8.1 and later, under Windows 10.
I downloaded Office365, and it persisted.
I had a similar problem with the printer/Devices screen, but cured that by taking out a redundant network printer driver.
It seems to be a hardware/driver problem.
1. Have you any ideas what it may be?
2. Do you know of a good hardware/driver type of forum that i could pose this query to?
Any help will be gratefully received.
