So i want to protect the back end of a database but im limited to what I can do....

I am unable to restrict members from accessing the file by username...
I am unable to place it in a local area which is pass protected...
I am also unable to encrypt the back end as the front end needs to be able to access it (and I dont know how to allow it to do that...)

is there any ideas anyone has about protecting the back end?

You can encrpyt the back end and relink to the front end - but 'educated' users will know they can see the password by looking in the MSysObjects table.

Who and what do you want to protect the backend from? For higher levels of security you should consider using SQL Server

how can I take a look at MSysObjects table?

Well... I know I can go to "File > Options > CurrentDB > Navigation Options"

viewing the table that way... however is there another way of being able to view the database's msysobject table?

The catch is, NO ONE appart from me has Microsoft Access. Everyone else has some version of access that doesnt allow them to change views or see the tables or do any developer things, they only these options in the ribbon "File > Privacy?"
