I have a database to track client activity per session.
Each client has a unique client number but multiple activities.
Therefore, if I have 20 clients in the database and each has 3 activities, I have 60 client numbers, 3 *20 = 60. ( Duplicated)
My elementary problem is how do I display the client activity unduplicated so that my query returns only 1 unique client number per session.
I tried the unique records/values in the property box but still.....
Thanks for your help.

I don't think you can limit the QUERY as you suggest, but you can make the REPORT layout behave as if you had.

When you use the wizard to create the report, one of the questions you will be asked is whether you wish to add any grouping levels. Say YES, you want to group on the client number. That way, the report will be divided into "sections", where each section starts with a client number and then lists the relevant activities under that.

If you have ALREADY created your report and don't want to start over, then, in design view, click the sorting and grouping button on your toolbar, select client number in the dropdown option and select YES for group header. Click OK to close that dialog. A new section will have appeared in your report and you can now drag the client number fromthe detail line into that header area.

I hope this helps.

Pat.
