Query in reports

Ok, i have a query and a report that are linked to each other.
On the report, it displays what has been looked for. For example, if i typed in 1.00 in the popup query box, it shows 1.00 when the report is opened.
I am using the control source, to actually create a query for the report itself, although another query exists.
The control source of my report is <=Max. Height and that is what the popup query box says. It says:
<=Max. Height
..........................


How do i change the <=Max. Height of the query so that it says 'Maximum height' but takes the value as <=Max. Height where "Max. Height" will be a number that will be queried?

Go to your query design grid - add the fields you want displayed in your query. In the criteria section of your max height field type:

<=[Maximum Height:]

well, that's for the wuery itself
When u have a query, and refer it to a report, the report runs its own query (in the control source) and that is where i want to change it

Add the query to the record source of the report. When you open the report the query will prompt you for that parameter value.

this is what the control source for the max. height looks like:
<= Specify the maximum height

It doesn't seem to work

What should it look like to be correct?

ok. Let me rephrase my question as so no one gets confused. I have linked my report to the query. It is working fine now.
Let's say, i want a piece of text that gets what i had typed in to the query. For example, I have typed this information:
Max height: 10
Max width : 5
Light needed: Lots


I want the above information to come up in the report.
I'll give an example:
WELCOME TO MY REPORT
THIS IS THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE SPECIFIED
The max height is *****
The max width is *****
The light needed is *****


In place of the *****, the information that i had typed in to the query comes up, how do i actually do it?
