Query results displayed in a forms list box

i want to output the results of a query into a form so i can display the results more aesthetically. my fields from the qry are first name, last name,.....etc there are 16 of them. however i only want to display 7 of them.

so i want to build a form which has 7 list boxes that will each contain the fields from the qry results.

I have tried this and the list boxes display only the first field of the qry results in each one
ie:

JAMES JAMES JAMES
instead of :
JAMES COMYN 04/08/1982

How can this be resolved?
Can any one help out?

Jed,

Thats not really the way to use listboxes. They're good at displaying
columns of data. But you can't edit it.

It would actually be possible to view records with multiple listboxes, and with enough code, you could even synch the rows so that they would scroll together. But why do that?

A form (or subform) is what you really need.
