Query that shows outstanding Reports

Each month every one in tblAuditorGroup provides me with one and only one audit report. the report is recorded in tblObservedHeader and is dated and assigned to the auditor who performed the audit.

tblObservedHeader
- ObservedID
- ObservedBy
- ObservedDate
- ObservedArea

tblAuditGroup
- AuditorID
- AuditorName

What I'd like to do is setup a report that allows me to select a month and run a report that shows me everyone who has not provided me with a report for that month. What is the best way to approach this?

Create a query showing you who has given you a report for the given month. Use the unmatched query wizard to compare that query and the table of people, which gives you the ones who haven't.

Thanks, I wasn't familiar with the Unmatched Wizard. I'll look into that.

How would I set something up that allows me to select a month each time i run the query to pull that specific month?

You'd add a criteria to the first query. I'd use a form, so the criteria would point there.
