I have been searching the SSN site but I can't find anything relevant.

Bob, it wasn't that the statement I am looking for was so precise that it specifically said that SSN couldn't be used as a pk, it was what it said that it COULD be used for which by inference precluded SSN's use as a pk.

I'm certainly not going to tell. I am merely warning people of a potential problem. Most large companies have legal departments who could check this easily. It is a matter of reading through a few paragraphs of legalese. I just can't find them.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess I'm just going to take a chance and continue to use SSN as the PK.
