I have a general question about Access Projects which I plan on learning soon:

I will be using SQL Servers for the databases.

Are Access Projects very different from ordinary Access and VBA (.mdb)?

I have a good grasp of Access Databases using Access as the back end. How much would this help with Access Projects?

Access projects are no longer being enhanced by MSFT. They are still supported and will be supported in A12 which will be released late next year. So, no existing projects will need to be converted but I would suggest not wasting your time creating new ones or learning a dead technology. Use an .mdb and linked SQL Server tables.

The .adp was never fully accepted by the development community due to its shortcomings so the Access team isn't going to waste any more time with developing for it.
