Howdy all,
I have spent a few hours now looking thru the forums on
1. hiding toolbars, menus
2. hiding access window
3. hiding all of access
and I have a couple of questions for those of you in the know.
1. If I want to make it so that you will basically just be looking at my database and not access (I don't care about security as only my wife and I will be using it) what is the easiest solution for someone that knows basically nothing about access. I would like to be able to Preview my reports, as well as printing them..so i think the snapshot view is out. As I haven't the faintest idea how to make that work, but from what I have read it seems pretty complicated.
2. on hiding access, i would like to hide toolbars, menus as everything needed to input into the database is on the forms, etc. BUT if I ever want to add to the database (new tables, forms, reports, etc) I would like to be able to see the toolbars, and menus.
I am very sorry if this seems like a often repeated question, and I have honestly tried to find a solution in the forums, but this is a case of soooo much information found, I don't know were to start. I just want a simple solution (is there ever such a thing?) to hide access with the min. of fuss
Thank you all for this wonderful resource, forum, and knowledgebase. I absolutly love reading about how to do things, and I am constantly amazed at all of the different ways of doing things.
Doug
