really dumb background question

Ok, so this is possibly the dumbest question ever... I have a form which was made with a background image. Problem is that the image makes the text very hard to read but I cannot seem to be able to remove it. Any ideas?

Check the Picture property of the form.

I cannot locate it. I right click on the form background and select properties and there's no "Picture" property listed in any of the tabs. Sorry, I know this is really dumb...

In the drop down list on the properties pallette, make sure to select "Form". Then you should be able to change the picture property.

No such thing as a dumb question. You want the properties of the form itself; you're probably seeing the properties of a particular section when you go into it that way. Open the form in design view and then go to View/Properties before you select anything on the form. Alternatively, right click on the title bar and select properties.
