Rectangles and Text Boxes

I have made a template Form which has Rectangles which contain certain Text Boxes.

I have set the Rectangles to 'Send To Back' and they are in set positions.

However, when I try to drag and drop a TextBox control onto the Rectangle, the Rectangle moves away.

Does anyone know why this happens and how I can stop the Rectangle from moving?

Sounds like you have selected a specific layout for form design. Try starting again but create a blank form?

Yes, I have decided on a specific layout so that all my Forms look the same.

I just want to drag and drop the text box controls into the Rectangles, so starting with a blank form isn;t really what I am looking for.

I thought it would be simple just to drag the text box control onto the top of the rectangle?

I have just tested it using a Text Box (disguised as a rectangle) and I can drag and drop the Text Boxes onto it.

So i could change my rectangles to text boxes.....but I wonder why a simple rectangle will not let me do this. A rectangle is just used for design and good-looks purposes, yes?

Problem solved!!!

Not sure why it is solved, but I made the original rectangles by copying and pasting 9so they woudl have all the same attributes.

Only when i deleted them and made "new" rectangles, was i able to drag and drop the text boxes onto the rectangle.
