It sure doesn't seem difficult, but I'm having a hard time with this. I basically want to select all data prior to a date that is entered from a form. The field is
[forms]![frmPurge].[txtDate]

I'm sure I need to convert this or add "#" somewhere in the criteria of the query. I tried
<[forms]![frmPurge].[txtDate]
and many other syntax's, but none worked. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Your criteria needs to be in the form;
Code:
[Forms]![YourFormName][B][COLOR="Red"]![/COLOR][/B][YourControlName]

So assuming that txtDate is your date field name your criteria should look like;
Code:
<[forms]![frmPurge][COLOR="Red"][B]![/B][/COLOR][txtDate]

I knew it was something simple. Thanks Big Booty.
