Relating New Table

Quick and Easy!

Hey all!

With the help of Mile-o-phile i managed to get my database normalised and it works a treat. However, I've added a new table, and it doesnt seem to 'relate' the same as the others, even thought it has the same structure and joins (Well as far as I can see anyway).

What i mean is when adding records to 'tblStudent', related tables (such as tblTitle) records come up as a drop down menu, so rather than having to type the corresponding ID, you can just select a title, this doesnt happen with the new table I've created (tblProfession) and I dont know why.

I've attached a copy of the db, hopefuly someone will be able to figure it out and get back to me.

I changed it for you but it is just a tiny bit to big to upload.

Change the the field ProffessionID in tblStudents from a text box to a combo box then change the row source to

SELECT [tblProfession].[ProfessionID], [tblProfession].[Profession] FROM tblProfession;

and the Column Count to 2

Lastly the Column Widths 0cm;2.501cm
