hi again
i am working for my company as cost analyser , one part of my job is to analyse the cost of telephone bills where my company has more than 1000 phone lines
our local telecom company provide good solution in its web site , where each user can download the detalis of his bill as csv file for each phone line per period
say , every month i have to download around 1000 csv file to analyse it
for more performance and to reduce chicking time , i designed Access database , i started from the first csv file and linked it to my database , i made all required queries and reports to do my analyse
now , i am thinking after finish analyse each bill to remove the old linked table and to use a browse folder option to select the other files and linke the selected file instead of it in the same name
how to make it ?

You can use the Linked Table manager to do this. Alternatively, if you replace the linked table with the new table in the same location with the same name, you will get the new data when you open Access.

Thanx Neilg
it is ok , but i is there any other way to do it else of table linked manager ?
because i wish to skeep the wizard , means i wish to do it out of that wizard if could be by code will be easier
also , i dont like to rename the oroginal file , it should be in same name for reference

You want to make life more difficult?

:)
here , i disagree with u

life is dippend of our view to it , if we look to it as a trial period only , it will seem to us as a simple life , happy .
else , it will seem to us as a difficult life
any how , i will use your first advise : linked table manager " ,
