remove list item from combo box after use

Hi can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove an list item from a combo box list after it has been used.
What I am trying to do is use a combo box that has a list of questions, after the user selects a question from the combo box list and answers the question when they reselect the combo box that question will not be seen again till the form is reloaded.

There may be better ways than this but I can't think of one.

Create a Temp table with the Primary Key Field of the Combo.
When you open the Form delete the contents of the Table.
Add the Primary Key of the Question as each one is used.
The Combo Source should be the same as what you currently have but add/join the temp table. Use as a criteria on the Temp Table Is Null for the Primary Key.
The Join should be show all from your existing table and only those that match from the Temp Table.

Totally not tested.

Post back if you have problems. I should be around for a while as I live up the highway from you.
