Report based on query - not show duplicates?

Hi all,

I'm doing a report based on a query for samples taken at a GP surgery, and there might well be more than one sample for each patient. For the purposes of this report, I only want to show each patient once, but I DO NOT want to remove the other samples from the table.

I am guessing there must be something I can do at the level of the query or at the report level but I am not sure how to do this!
