Report extension

Hi,

Is it possible to give other extension when you output a report? For example, in ".dat" format. I have try:

OFormat = "dat"

DoCmd.OutputTo acReport, stDocName, OFormat

and a message tell me that I need a format in MS-words, Rich text..

How can I correct this?

You could send it out in the default format and then use the FileSystem objects to rename them.
