Hi everyone,

I have two fields. The first is RegularPremiumAmount and the second is SinglePremiumAmount.

Basically i want the report to default display the RegularPremiumAmount but if this is blank (or null?) then it will display the SinglePremiumAmount automatically.

Can someone help a newguy like me?

I need this is Expression Builder if possible as i have limited programming experience.

Is this for a report or a form? Could you please elaborate further.
 
Um, none of them. Its a report.

Just checked to make sure i posted this in the report section and i did.

So no, not a form, just a report taking its fields from a query.
 
Got you now :) Here's the expression:

=IIF(Len([RegularPremiumAmount] & "") <> 0, [RegularPremiumAmount], [SinglePremiumAmount])
