Report from a Form Problem??

I made a Report from a Form that had a Subform in it. When I go to make format changes to the Report, it also changes the format in the Original Form. Is there a way to put an end to this?

What kind of changes are occuring?

Sorry, I don't have an answer just yet. But I want to hear more about this challenge.

For example:

On the report, I want to stretch one of the fields in the subform part of it to fit the report nicer, then in the Form that the report was based off of the subform also has stretched fields.

Im boggled.
